Hello, I am Loring McClellan, a Loan Officer with Western Foothill
Mortgage, Inc., a Volunteer with Sclar – Large Animal Emergency
Evacuation of El Dorado County, and co-founder of Sleepy Hollow Horse

Bad news in the Economy is
GOOD NEWS to mortgage rates. We are officially in a recession – thus -
mortgage rates are AWESOME. Lower rates are an effort to stimulate

time home buyer, there is a Federal Tax Credit up to $8,000!
Additionally, there is a $10,000 tax credit for the purchase of a new
home, never been occupied, in California! The purchase must be made
between March 1, 2009 and March 1, 2010.

I am most excited about the Part Time Farm Loan which bridges the gap
between traditional financing of property with small acreage and large
agricultural loans. This loan is perfect for the lifestyle of the
“gentleman farmer” or anyone who cannot obtain a traditional mortgage
due to “too much acreage”, non contiguous parcels, or mixed use.
Refinancing into this type of loan is also available and rates are
reasonable.
